The List Goes On!!!

I've only been doing this a few weeks now but the 'to do' and 'to buy' lists keep getting longer! Here is just a small part of the list.

  • Get all the paint off the inside of the windows (not looking forward to this!)
  • Put blinds on all the windows
  • Make up new cab curtains to match
  • Install leisure battery and all required wiring
  • Add more 12v lighting
  • Install new worktop
  • Buy and install sink, hob, tap and some kind of fridge/cooler
  • Waste and fresh water tanks with pump for tap
  • Build more storage units
  • Re-install 240v hook up to a more suitable position
  • Install TV and Playstation

Well, the list goes on!!

The Foam Has Arrived!

I've now got the foam for my seats/bed. This will be covered in bright red fabric which I have. Just need my mother to make the covers as I would definatly ruin it!

The Kitchen

So far with the kitchen area i've ply'd, covered in carpet and made the cupboard doors. I've also put on a temporary work surface until I know which appliences i'm going to install.

I've also put on some door knobs which aren't in this picture.

Seat Tops & Bed

I've hinged the top of the seats for additional storage and made (roughly) inserts for the bed.

Time To Ply

It's now time for the ply the framework and cover in carpet. I've decided to carpet as much as I can to help with insulation and it looks nice and neat too!

I must admit I used a little chipboard around the bottom of the seats because we had a couple of new pieces in the garage and as i'm on a budget I use whatever I can get my hands on!

Starting The Build Proper

It was now time for the fun part of building the interior fromework. I have very limited carpentery expierience but thought i'd give it a go anyway, How hard could it be?

Here are some pics of the first pieces of framework for the seating area.

Next up was the MOT. Not too bad really just front pads and discs and a break hose!
